In addition to the travel authorisation, Sri Lanka requires an arrival AND departure card to be completed within 72 hours of arrival in or departure from Sri Lanka.

For a travel to Sri LankaAn electronic authorisation is required for tourismthe business or for a transit. It replaces the short-lived electronic visa and even the visa in the passport.
THE ETA allows you to stay up to 30 days on site for 50$ USD or 55$ USD per passenger, excluding service charges. For a transitSri Lanka authorisation allows you to stay 2 days in the country, with no consular fees.
We advise you to apply online at least 10 days before you arrive in Sri Lanka.
When to travel to Sri Lanka
Ideally, the best time to travel to Sri Lanka is from January to May. To avoid a heavy tourist influx, it's best to leave during the months of April and May when sun, warmth and tranquillity will be present.
